At Education 1st, the safety, wellbeing, and protection of every child and young person in our care is our highest priority.

We are fully committed to creating and maintaining a secure, supportive, and nurturing environment where all children and young adults feel safe, valued, and respected. We believe that every young person has the right to learn and grow free from harm. We take our responsibility to safeguard them extremely seriously. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility - and at Education 1st, it is at the heart of our culture, placing the needs of the child at the centre of everything we do.

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

At Education 1st we believe that all children and young people should be equally valued and therefore endeavour to promote equality of opportunity and outcomes in all aspects of the alternative provision we offer.

We work closely with commissioning bodies, parents and carers to ensure that our young people with Special Educational Needs and/ or Disabilities fulfil their academic as well as their personal potential, and therefore believe they are equally worthy and important members of the wider community.
